Severe Weather Resources

If you have experienced damage to your home or need assistance due to the April 29 storm and severe weather, please see below for a list of helpful resources. If you need further assistance, do not hesitate to call my San Antonio office at 210-806-9920.

Texas Department of Emergency Management is asking residents and businesses to submit storm damages in order to help them measure the extent of damages sustained. Submit your damage estimates here.

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross will be providing 75 boxes to the Lone Star Corral RV Park. They will be handing out blue tarps, clean up kits and food via their canteen to the affected community.

Dumpster Services

Two large dumpsters from Republic Services have been placed at the Hondo Swimming Pool and City Hall. Residents can dump storm debris here to alleviate pile up.

First Baptist Church

Led by Pastor Mike Vasquez, church volunteers will be helping with clean-up efforts. Applicants can call to request assistance. For assistance or to volunteer, please call 830-426-4047.
