Washington, D.C. – Today, For Country Caucus Co-Chairs Tony Gonzales (TX-23) and Jason Crow (CO-06), released a statement following the recent passing of Tonya Star, wife to Retired Army Maj. Richard Star:
“We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Tonya Star, a tireless advocate for the military and veteran communities and champion of the Major Richard Star Act,” said For Country Caucus Co-Chairs, Congressmen Tony Gonzales (TX-23) and Jason Crow (CO-06). “Her loss will be felt and not forgotten. We will continue to fight for wounded veterans in Tonya and Richard’s memory.”
