WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23) delivered his first speech on the House floor on Thursday, highlighting his newly introduced bill, the Security First Act. The Security First Act, introduced Thursday, aims to bring our border patrol and law enforcement agencies into the twenty-first century through additional funding to Operation Stonegarden. This is Congressman Gonzales’ first piece of legislation as a Member of Congress. His district includes over 820 miles of U.S.-Mexico border, the most of any Congressional District.
