WASHINGTON D.C. – Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23) is inviting students throughout Texas’ 23rd Congressional District to participate in the 2021 Congressional App Challenge (CAC). The CAC inspires students to learn how to code through a district wide competition for the chance to be recognized on the national level.

Winning applications will be honored at #HouseofCode, will have the App displayed in the Capitol for one year, and the chance to receive additional prizes. Students must be in middle school or high school and can participate in up to teams of four. Applications can be coded on any platform, using any programming language, on any topic. Applications close on November 1, 2021.
