UVALDE, TX – Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23) on Thursday announced $2,925,786 in funding from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for the Health Center Cluster Project in Texas’ 23rd Congressional District. The grant money will be awarded to the Center for Community Wellness in Uvalde.
“Investing in our medically underserved and rural populations is more important than ever,” said Congressman Gonzales. “Our community health centers significantly increase the quality of care for our communities, and I thank HHS for investing significant funds in Uvalde.”
