“Our border crisis has impacted the Del Rio community in a major way,” said Congressman Gonzales. “The area has sadly become the perfect case study for how inaction from the White House is hurting our border communities. It’s inspiring that a large group of my colleagues committed their time to seeing these impacts firsthand. From security to business to trade, Republicans are laser focused on tangible solutions in Congress.”
Members of the trip included Cliff Bentz (OR-02), Ken Calvert (CA-42), John Curtis (UT-03), Andrew Garbarino (NY-02), Carlos Gimenez (FL-26), Bill Huizenga (MI-02), Chris Jacobs (NY-27), Young Kim (CA-39), Peter Meijer (MI-03), Carol Miller (WV-03), Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-02), John Rutherford (FL-04), David Valadao (CA-21).
