“The world is watching as our borders are opening more and more by the minute, especially for cartels and other bad actors,” said Congressman Gonzales. “Eagle Pass has become the epitome of how President Biden’s border policies are hurting our border communities. Thank you to all my colleagues who took this trip down to Eagle Pass to see the crisis firsthand so that we can continue to push for border security in Congress. Our next step is keeping Title 42 in place.”

Members of the trip included House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA-23), House GOP Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (NY-21), Congressman Randy Weber (TX-14), Congressman Michael Guest (MS-03), Congressman Chip Roy (TX-21), Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14), Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger (TN-01), Congressman Gary Palmer (AL-06), and Congressman Blake Moore (UT-01).
