“On May 24, 2022, our neighbors in Uvalde CISD experienced the tragic loss of nineteen students and two educators. To help the community heal and prevent such tragedies from happening again, I want to inform you of several grant opportunities that may be of interest to your school district. I recognize that many of the deadlines are rapidly approaching; my office stands ready to assist,” said the letter.
