PECOS COUNTY, TX – Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23) today announced over $3.3 million in grant money from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for health center clusters in Texas’ 23rd District.
Grants will be awarded to the following health centers within the district:
- $1,234,792 to Cactus Health Services, Inc. in Fort Stockton.
- $2,146,107 to Presidio County Health Services, Inc. in Marfa.
“As we continue to combat the pandemic, local health centers have become more important than ever,” said Congressman Gonzales. “These funds allow for critical investments to be made in our communities, specifically to our medically underserved and rural populations. I applaud the Department of Health and Human Services for directing a significant amount of funds to the health centers in our district.”
