SAN ANTONIO, TX - Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23) announced that San Antonio received $3.8 million in Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) grant funding. This project assists high density, targeted areas by providing them with the ability to protect themselves against and recover from acts of terrorism.

“I have fought hard to include adequate UASI funding in our federal budget, and am pleased to announce that San Antonio has received these critical dollars in FY22,” said Congressman Gonzales. “This significant amount of funding will help to keep our communities safe by providing increased security presence in public areas and ample resources for disaster recovery.”
