FABENS, TX – Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23) on Tuesday announced $900,000 in grant funds from the Economic Development Administration (EDA) for the improvements of the Veterans Park Memorial and recreation area in Fabens, El Paso County, Texas.

“I am proud to see such a significant investment from the EDA to the Fabens community,” said Congressman Gonzales. “As a Navy veteran myself, it is great to see this park honoring our brave men and women who have fought for our freedoms. Alongside honoring our veterans, this project will spark tourism, create jobs, and advance economic opportunity for our community.”
